As a designer my goal is to help bridge meaningful connections between you and your customer and create more personal experiences online. I love digging into the details and have a passion for building products that increase efficiency through organization and dynamic interactions.
I’ve worked on projects that range from designing an in-house quoting tool for a health insurance company to improving the site structure and standardization for a leading app services company. Through my experience, I’ve seen the importance of balancing the needs of the customer with the needs of the business and find a lot of joy in helping our clients down the path that will show them the biggest impact.
Before moving into UX design I worked for a number of years in the fashion industry where I developed my design chops and deep interest in customer engagement. After working for a large apparel company, I launched and ran my own women’s fashion line which I sold to specialty boutiques and department stores across the US, Japan, and Korea.
While running a small business was challenging, it was an amazing experience that enabled me to be hands on in all areas of the business from learning accounting to sewing samples, selling at tradeshows, and eventually opening a brick-and-mortar store which I built-out and ran with another designer.
Working more directly with my customers was formative in my development as a designer. It launched me on a quest to increase my customer engagement, which ultimately led me to the world of UX design. In my free time you can find me running or biking around the PNW, sewing personal projects at my fashion studio, or hanging out with my husband and new puppy, Cannoli.
